Rugby Central ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect and why. We keep it to the minimum needed to run the site.
What we collect
- Theme preference — your light/dark choice is stored locally in your browser only. It never reaches our servers.
- Aggregate traffic data — our host (Cloudflare) records standard, anonymised request information (e.g. page views, country, device type) to keep the service secure and fast.
We do not require accounts, and we do not collect names, emails, or payment details to browse the site.
Third-party data
Live scores, fixtures, standings and team logos are supplied by API-Rugby (API-Sports) and similar providers. When you view a page, your browser may load logo images directly from those providers.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage for your theme preference. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your data
We do not sell or share personal data. As we add features (such as favourites or alerts), this policy will be updated to describe them.
Listings you submit
What a submission stores. Event: title, description, start (and optional end) time, venue, city, country, optional link, optional linked competition or match. Vendor: name, description, category, city, country, optional website, optional linked competition. For both: your account identifier, review status (pending, approved, rejected or withdrawn), timestamps, and — if not approved — the reason, visible to you on your own submission. No payment, card, ticket, booking or capacity data is collected.
Who can see it. Visible to other signed-in users only after approval. Before that, and if rejected or withdrawn, only to you and the reviewer.
How you remove it. Pending submissions can be withdrawn in the app. For an approved listing, request removal via the contact address in the Terms. Deleting your account removes your submissions — they are tied to your account and deleted with it.
