Privacy Policy

Rugby Central (“the app”) is operated by WebNest Creations (“we”, “us”). This page explains what the app collects, why, who else handles it, and how to get it deleted. Questions: info@webnestcreations.com.
The short version. You can browse fixtures and results without an account. If you make an account, we store what you give us so the app can work. We do not collect your device location, we show no ads, and we never sell your data. You can delete your account inside the app at any time.
What we collect, and why

What we do not collect
- No device location. The app does not use GPS and never asks for location permission.
- No advertising and no advertising or behavioural-analytics trackers.
- No selling of your data — to anyone, ever.
- We don’t read your contacts or messages. The app can add a match to your calendar only when you ask it to, and that stays on your device. It asks for photo access only when you choose a profile picture.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of services to run the app. They process data on our behalf to run the app.

| Expo and Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) | Deliver push notifications. They see your notification token and the alert text. |
| Sentry | Receives crash and error reports, with a random account ID and no name or email. |
| Anthropic | Powers the AI Concierge. When you ask a question, the question and your recent chat in that conversation are sent to Anthropic to produce an answer, and are handled under Anthropic’s own terms and privacy policy. Only signed-in users can use the Concierge. Please don’t put personal or sensitive information in your questions. |
A few features contact public services directly from your phone, and those services can see your IP address and what you asked for — but not who you are: weather (Open-Meteo), place search and Find a Pub (OpenStreetMap), event listings (Ticketmaster, by country), and fixtures, news, podcasts and video feeds from their publishers.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, because these providers run internationally. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, almost everything is removed straight away — see below.
Deleting your data
In the app: Profile → Settings (gear icon) → Account & Privacy → Delete Account. Without the app: email us (full instructions).
Removed when you delete your account: your sign-in, profile, profile photo, posts, threads, replies and reactions, notes, follows, mutes and blocks, match marks and progress, listings you submitted, notification token and settings, and moderation records about you.
Not removed, and why:
- Feedback you sent us. The message stays so we can act on it, but it is detached from your account. Please don’t put personal details in feedback.
- Reports you filed about other people. They stay as part of the moderation record so the other person’s case can be handled fairly; your name is removed from them.
- Crash reports held by Sentry. They carry only a random ID that stops meaning anything once your account is gone, and Sentry removes them on its own schedule.
- Anything the law requires us to keep.
Your choices and rights
- See and download your data: Account & Privacy → Export My Data gives you a file of your profile, follows, marks and saved lists.
- Correct it: edit your profile in the app, or ask us.
- Turn off notifications in the app’s notification settings or your phone’s settings.
- Hide a person by muting or blocking them.
- Depending on where you live (for example under POPIA or the GDPR) you may have further rights, such as to object or to complain to your data regulator. Email us and we will help.
Children
Rugby Central is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has made an account, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Connections to the app and this site are encrypted, passwords are stored hashed, and access to your data is limited by account. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Changes
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and its date, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
